UPS Forwarding Hub

Role: Experience Team Lead

The UPS Forwarding Hub is a digital platform that allows customers to get air and ocean freight quotes, book and track shipments, manage documents, collaborate with team members and communicate with UPS sales and support.

The ask was to bring the current UPS Supply Chain Solutions quote and book process up to speed with competitors and digital-first freight forwarders, with a long-term goal to develop a best-in-class freight forwarding platform.

  • Guided the UPS client team through a transition into a user-centered design process 

  • Fostered a culture of empathy and collaboration

  • Led the platform through a period of rapid growth (approx. 77% YoY) 

  • Balanced business objectives and customer needs to create a useful and effective tool for UPS  

Honda + Acura

Honda asked Razorfish LA to do a complete redesign of their Honda automobiles and Acura websites. The sites were outdated from a design and technical perspective, and no longer represented the brands. My role mostly centered around Honda but also crossed over into Acura with shared tools such as Inventory Search, dealer locator and payment calculator.

  • New Honda vehicle page design resulted in a 30% increase in engagement and 100% increased clickthrough rate to the dealer locator

  • Introduced a new way of organizing dealer inventory so that it would be easier for customers to browse stock

  • Both websites went from near the bottom of the JD Power auto website rankings to the top 5 after the redesigns. 

  • Both websites received multiple LA Addy awards

Marcel AI

In its initial form, Marcel was a mobile voice app aimed at connecting the Publicis Groupe’s 80k+ employees. I was part of a small team of 4 designers Publicis asked to create the first skill called “Ask an Expert”.  

  • Users would be able to leverage the vast network of subject matter experts across the various brands housed under Publicis Groupe.

  • Conducted research around trends and best practices in the VUI space. 

  • Leveraged learnings to create “happy path” flows and screen mockups to serve as a guide for other teams to create subsequent skills.
